Advancing Chinese Language and Cultural Literacy
In addition to its focus on the needs of students and educators, The CAIS Institute also promotes the understanding of Chinese language and culture in the broader community.
Enduring research about Chinese/American culture will document and display the reality and evolution of this distinct cultural identity. The Institute will continually investigate and identity the attributes of Chinese and American interaction and explore, perfect, and export ways to integrate them into the classroom experience of millions of Americans.
