2008 Chinese Language Bridge Cup Contest

The Confucius Institute at San Francisco State University, Multilingual Programs of San Francisco Unified School District, Education Office of the Chinese Consulate General in San Francisco, and CAIS Institute would like to invite you to participate in the 2008 Chinese Language Bridge Cup Contest in San Francisco.

This is the 4th annual competition of its kind, designed to promote interest in Chinese language and culture among K through 12 students. In previous years, the competition has attracted up to 1000 entrants from more than 60 schools across San Francisco and the Bay Area, including both native Chinese speakers and non-native speakers who have been learning Chinese at school. Activities for competition are: painting/drawing, brush calligraphy, hard-tipped pen calligraphy, Chinese language composition, and poetry recital.

AWARDS CEREMONY
The awards ceremony will be held at Marina Middle School on June 6, 2008. Award recipients and their families are all welcome to attend. Please click here for a more detailed agenda for the event.
