This class is designed to prepare students for the SAT Chinese with listening subject test, which measures the understanding of Mandarin Chinese in the context of contemporary Chinese culture. The class focuses on fundamental test taking strategies concentrating on the three main sections of the exam: listening comprehension, grammar and writing mechanics, and reading comprehension. There is also a strong focus on time efficiency, accuracy, and how to test well under pressure.

Students will develop practical test taking strategies and skills through drills and review of common mistakes. 10-12 sets of sample tests will be completed throughout the course and students will be given home-study materials at the end of each class.
